Job description:

? Align the plant’s long-term and short-term production objectives with the established business objectives and corporate policies

? Develop and manage operating plans including profit plans, volume plans, labor spending, material costs, capital expenditures and other expense budgets for achieving targets

? Develop and implement an organizational framework and strategy to enhance the operating effectiveness and efficiency

? Coordinate the plant operations, communicate objectives, identify measurements and take necessary action to assure performance goals are met

? Monitor quality and take necessary action to assure appropriate level of quality according to global and local standard

? Ensure maximum efficiency and productivity of production facility

? Ensure production volume, cost and quality of production, and production schedules are met

? Review safety and environment regularly to assure compliance to standards and general safety of work place

? Provide leadership and direction in the development of the plant

? Manage and develop senior managers to ensure continuity of effective management in order to be able to meet long and short-term human resource needs

Background:

? Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering, or a related field of study. MBA is a plus

? Minimum 8 years working in a production environment with wide knowledge base of operations, supply chain, quality, EHS, purchasing, HR/Finance, etc. Candidate with strong technical background is preferred

? Good leading and people skills. Must be a team player with good coaching skills and have the capability to challenge and drive the teams to achieve higher performances

? Good communication and presentation skills as well as sales ability on a well documented structural basis that is convincing to HQ and local authorities

? Balanced temperament, able to work under pressure and prioritize, especially when work in a global team

? Prepared to travel for short periods on occasion
