Core accountabilities:
Responsibilities
1. Manage the LCI department on a daily basis.
2. Challenge, coach and support the local managers to improve overall LCI capability.
3. Contribute in the overall global LCI community.
4. Create, implement and continuously use global standards, feedback with improvement points.
Primary goals
1. Continually improve the plant LCI assessment results.
2. Develop and improve the managers LCI knowledge base.
3. Focus on “Improvement” results based on clear standards (Kaizen).
4. Create the environment of continuous improvement by making sure employees are working safely and service is being provided in the best quality, on time and at a reasonable price. This to be achieved by identifying and eliminating waste.
Challenges
Sustainability is the key to build a continuous improvement culture, however this is also the biggest challenge.
Process confirmation and true go look see will support this direction.
Development potential
Great position to start on both local and global perspective opening in front of good performers.
Opportunity to learn how to implement CI from green field to World Class.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of lean implementation experience.
First hand experience of the Lean tools and mindset.
Hands on experience in transitioning from traditional processes to Lean processes.
Experience of working with Management to secure mandate and support for Lean introduction.
Experience as an internal or external consultant/coach would be an advantage.
This is not a position for academics or advisors.
Good basic school education. Further education or relevant studies would be an advantage.

Good level of knowledge in MS Office.
Fluency in English and local Chinese.
Flexibility in working hours and mobility in work place.
