Title: Field Sales Manager
Job Description
Key Accountabilities
Job Duties
? Are arranged in order of importance that indicate the weight, or value, of each duty; weight of a duty is gauged by the percentage of time devoted to it.
? Stress the responsibilities that duties entail and the results to be accomplished.
? Indicate the tools and equipment used by the employee in performing the job.
? Should comply with law by listing only the essential functions of the job to be performed. ? Responsible for managing Sales Team to maximize sales objectives for an assigned territory or business unit. Work in conjunction with field sales staff, Business Development and Sales Administration and other business unit personnel.
? Develop and implement strategies and promotions to increase sales volume and market share. Assess the effectiveness of promotional programs, making adjustments as needed to achieve goals.
? Assure effective coordination of effort and communication between field sales staff, customer service, field application, product management and Business Development team to facilitate sales productivity
? Prepare and communicate sales forecast, monitor actual sales performance. Ensure minimum gross profit percentage targets are achieved, and review/approve exceptions.
? Establish and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, manufacturer and customers. Respond to customer inquiries as needed to provide assistance, resolve problems and facilitate sales transactions.
? Interface with other departments to ensure sales orders are filled according to customer specifications.
? Resolve daily operational issues adversely impacting the effectiveness of all sales and sales support efforts.
? Analyze and assist in determining inventory requirements based on sales trend data. Assure all monthly sales reports are prepared and distributed in a timely manner. Review and distribute productivity measurement reports to Sales Staff.
? Drives the local supplier relationship.
? Any other duties manager assigned

? Education requirement ? Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
? Years of relevant experience
? 6+years;
? Knowledge of manufacturing and electronics distribution industry essential.
