Job Title: :Continious Improvement Manager
Working Venue: Xingtai city of Hebei Province
Reporting to: GM
DEPARTMENT:AFT CI DEPARTMENT:
AIM OF THE ROLE: The employee will manage CI department in TWS Xingtai plant to meet strategic targets, following country law requirements and Company policies. He will periodically monitor and improve critical company KPIs through a cooperation with other departments, other Company entities colleagues and suppliers, he will report periodically Excellence activitiesand targets status to General Manager and defined Company colleagues, he will maintain, promote and improve, at plant level, company image following BU and group indications.
Impact on Business:
1. Monitor and Improve Company Manufacturing System in Xingtai plant.
2. Effectively organize daily activities to support and to deliver results in line with budget and strategic plan.
3. Inspiring and involving people to continuous improvements concepts, building up internal expertise for Lean activities by organizing related methodology training.
4. Monitoring, leading and coordinating the activities to meet ME objectives.
5. Ensuring that “best practices” are re-applied by sharing successful cases within company and across global network.
6. Reviewing processes and participating directly or indirectly at the creation of standards operations for those processes.
Innovation and Change :
1. Facilitate the change of company culture by involving people in continuously improvement activities, promoting new ideas sharing at all levels.
2. Coordinating with other departments to eliminate waste.
3. Continuously optimizing and standardizing processes using Manufacturing Excellence tools (e.g. PDCA).
4. Motivating people by developing of a recognition system and helping to build up a mind-set of “0” loss in company.
Communication with internal and/or external Customers, Suppliers as well as Third Parties :
1. Continuously communicate with other departments for information sharing, developing common plans and supporting.
2. Frequent meeting with Global Company ME network to benchmark and exchange of “best Practice”.
3. Benchmarking with external companies, with the same or different business model, to find improvement opportunities and innovative ideas.
People Leadership :
1. Good management skill to drive ME activities.
2. Very good communication skill to align targets/priorities with dept. Mgr.
3. Able to motivate, to challenge team members and colleagues to a continuous improvement, raising the bar without resting on achieved results.
4. Good people development skill.
5. Capability to lead a cross-functional team.
Requriements:
1. Bachelor degree or above, preferred in industrial Engineeringor mechanical.
2. Professional Knowledge and Experiences.
3. 3~5 years of relevantworking experience.
4. Experience in Manufacturing or Equipment (+) or Industrial Engineering (++)
5. At least 3 years in Lean implementation, especially experience with Lean manufacturing system.
6. Knowledge of Lean methodology like Pull system, SMED,OEE,VSM, TPM, KANBAN, ANDON, Line Balance, Problem Solving, DAMIC etc.
7. Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
8. Ability to operate independently and under pressure.
9. Fluent in both spoken & written English/Chinese.
