Position Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: Shenzhen, China
Employment: 6 months extendable
JOB SUMMARY:
We have an exciting role in our China office as a Technical Project Manager. This person will be responsible for all aspects of assigned technical projects. Projects may be focused on development of new or upgraded products and services, internal information system-specific projects that may involve development or enhancement of internal applications, technology integration and/or infrastructure environment build-out, delivery by service teams for outsourced solutions to external clients or delivery of new or enhanced products and/or services to improve customer satisfaction through use of technology.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
？ Oversees all aspects of assigned projects throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints.
？ Manages problem resolution and risk mitigation for issues, problems and risks as needed.
？ Ensures accurate cost monitoring and cost control within projects.
？ Leads multi-disciplinary teams, composed of various levels of personnel, vendors, and clients to create and deploy successful projects.
？ Performs additional related duties as assigned. Identifies areas where continuous improvement can be applied, implements the change and measures the level of improvement.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
？ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
？ 5-7 years’ Technical Project Management experience implementing payment solution or applications in the banking and financial industry.
？ Experience in managing a Systematics implementation project.
？ Bilingual English and Mandarin verbal and written communication.
？ Experience with both large solution implementations at external client organizations and solution development projects, preferably on new age payments.
？ Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines.
？ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar.
？ Knowledge of the industry project management best practices (i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge - PMBOK).
？ Willing to travel with the region (50%).
？ Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles and the correct project application.
？ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
？ Proven ability to build successful client relationships.
