Key responsibilities:
? This position is responsible for developing new and maintaining existing customer accounts and actively selling and promoting products within the marketplace located in South China.
? Emphasis will be on developing key relationships and achieving business growth in line with company profitability requirements.
? Responsible for the Account Management at assigned customers within the specified geographical region.
? Manage the Agents & Distributors within the region. Recommend changes as appropriate.
? Arrange for appropriate training for the distributors & ‘local’ sales team as relevant
? Proactively develop new business opportunities.
? Develop, plan and implement sales strategy for the specified regions.
? Identify & establish the requirement for agreements & contracts for strategically important customers / business.
? Analyze and interpret industry intelligence to assist marketing develop pricing and positioning of various product lines.
? Interface with regional and international colleagues on market intelligence and account management & strategy issues.
? Consistent with previously formulated strategies:
? Freedom to act independently in order to meet and/or exceed budget numbers for sales of company product lines within the specified region.
? Position and promote next generation of company products on a regional basis as directed by Marketing
Qualifications:
? Have tertiary education, Chemical or relevant majors.
? Have good knowledge of business environment in China.
? Have excellent interpersonal skills within and outside the organization.
? A self-starter and dynamic
? Integrity, intelligent and proactive.
? Have practical strategic and tactical marketing and sales knowledge.
? Have excellent command of written and oral Chinese and English.
? Conversant in application of Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, ERP system.
