Position Title BUSINESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER
Job Description
The BUSINESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER will act as a process improvement leader within SSB AP Region. Engages the leadership in SSB AP Region to actively drive and participate in messaging, focus and importance of LSS activity. Creates the environment that encourages active process improvement discussion in the context of business goals. Identify the key breakthrough focus areas. Provides support on AP SSB GPT activity
This individual will identify opportunities, scope projects, and forecast resources to achieve productivity, quality and service improvement targets for the business. Partner with the business to create the vision of LEAN Six Sigma for SSB AP Region. Define the path, goals and timing with measures to implement LEAN Six Sigma across the organization. Collaborates with other LEAN Champions across the organization to share knowledge and best practices.
With the business, identifies and selects projects balanced to address business priorities, financial improvements and customer issues. Creates necessary business alliances to eliminate barriers to the projects’ success. Ensure that the project recommendations implemented are sustained and evaluated for ongoing process improvement.
Scope:
The scope of the position has SSB APR impact with an initial focus on driving productivity improvements in total cost of operations and process optimization and with secondary focus on SSB GPT activity

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Business, Quality, Engineering or other functional area.
- Minimum 7-10 years experience within specific business/functional area; familiarity with
product line, process, market and technology
- Demonstrated leadership capability, change leader and driving project success individually
and through their direct and indirect reports
Competency Requirements:
- Interacts with the APR and global team members well and is a team player.
- Understands and demonstrates how to tie business, functional and operational demands and
enabling technologies that can help drive quality process improvements for the benefit of the
business.
- Able to communicate effectively while offering mentoring and help to other LEAN Six Sigma professionals, as well as non-LEAN Six Sigma employees and leaders for project success.
- Considers all relevant issues and stakeholders when making decisions.
- Evaluates all factors and alternatives before making decisions
Desired Qualifications Global business proficiency and understanding
Black Belt and/or Lean Master certified or willingness to obtain Black Belt certification
Business Case
Effectively integrate LSS into mainstream operations to achieve both SSB local and AP Reion quality and productivity objectives. More efficiently utilize LSS resources through mentoring, project selection, training, follow up. Successful candidate will assist the organization to achieve planned productivity savings for SSB AP Region
