SUMMARY:
Responsible for the operational success and full integration of activities across functions within the region or capability. Owns the definition of operational and strategic goals for the region or capability. Fully accountable for the long-term success of the operational efficiencies within the region, contributing to broader CSM operational goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Responsibility for planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling programs or regional operations. Set goals and objectives, establish procedures, and influence others to attain the goals of the organizational unit.
· Responsibility for forecasting, developing, and monitoring budgets and to allocate funds between programs. To ensure organizational compliance with laws, policies, and procedures for a variety of functions such as personnel, purchasing, and accounting.
· To mediate and negotiate conflicts or agreements between internal and external organizations or individuals.
· Develops plans for long term operational strategies for the region or capability required to reach business goals.
· Builds commitment to a common vision and shared values explicitly expressing a great deal of confidence in others' ability and desire to excel.
· Builds agreement, support and commitment within the management team around key organization operational strategies.
· Adapts leadership style to best obtain overall results.
· Detects early warning signals and shifts operational direction before competitive advantages are lost.
· Defines clear operational strategies and develops specific, ever-increasing goals and success factors for the region or capability
· Ensures that all initiatives and investments fully support broader operational strategies.
· Ensures broad operational strategies are translated into specific objectives, action plans and metrics.
· Modifies processes and systems as needed to align with operational strategic objectives.
· Ensures that other's have the necessary resources, capabilities, information and support to meet their operational objectives.
· Serves as a champion or leader for new operational initiatives by becoming a strong advocate, providing compelling reasons and clearly communicating change benefits.
· Shapes and drives the culture to create continual change in order to lead the industry business
· Has deep insight into the customers' and markets' short and long-term needs.
· Drives the organization to continuously search for, develop and implement systematic processes to improve value, quality and service to customers.
· Demonstrates a strong drive to achieve a variety of best-in-class, breakthrough results against goals.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· Five to six years in a previous operational position.
· Six to ten years with a service based Company providing remanufacturing solutions to Customers
· Participation in a business start-up or turn-around situation with direct influence in outcomes.
· Progressive experience with multiple companies.
· Has extensive cross-disciplinary experiences and exposure to multiple functions within an organization
