About Deals
We work together with clients to create greater value in their mergers, acquisitions, disposals and restructuring by helping them to:

- Develop the right strategy before the deal
- Execute their deals seamlessly
- Identify issues and points of negotiation and value
- Implement change strategies to deliver synergies and improvements after the deal

We also help clients assess the options available in troubled financial situations and advise on restructuring and maximising value.


Responsibilities:

· Lead the architecture, design and development of the next generation “Big data” Business Intelligence and Data warehouse environment;
· Create the requirements analysis, the platform selection, design of the technical architecture, design of the application design and development, testing, and deployment of the proposed solution;
· Developing analytical solutions for large volume business data through the design and programming of business intelligence/data warehouse constructs and presentation layers;
· Design, model and develop data models (logical and physical) to support reporting and analytics;


Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree or higher; majored in Computer Science, or Math, or Engineering, or related fields
· Hands-on report development experience in business intelligence platforms, e.g. Cognos, Qlikview, Tableau
· Hands-on experience in SQL, Java, C# or python
· Solid understanding data modelling and software design patterns
· Can speaking English fluently, excellent written and verbal communication skills

Other Nice-to-have Skills:

· Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, MapReduce, YARN, HBase (or MongoDB, Cassandra etc.) is a plus
· Data warehouse experience (multi-terabyte in Hadoop)
· Expert level understanding of data warehouse implementation, management, and performance tuning.
· Strong experience on web and mobile development (HTML5)
· Other Hadoop technologies, such as Cassandra, Ambari, Hive, Pig, ZooKeeper
· Strong in AngularJS, JQuery, JavaScript, AJAX
· Solid understanding design patterns
· Familiar with Agile development methodology, with scaled scrum experience
· In-depth understanding architectural design
