OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Treasury Manager – Asia Pacific to support the Company’s Treasury activities related to banking, cash management, and payment services in China. This position requires that the individual be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, communicate effectively, demonstrate initiative, and work well with others.

The Treasury Manager – China will be responsible for all cash and funding related matters related to the Treasury organization’s support of the Company’s China [retail] activities. This person will help lead the development and implementation of regional Treasury structure and policies. He or She will be responsible for day-to-day regional Treasury operations including financial analysis, reporting, transaction execution, and projects. The Treasury Manager will manage relationships with service representatives in the treasury management field. This individual will also need to establish effective relationships with various operating divisions and provide those divisions with appropriate treasury services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Support business growth by providing the proper funding, banking, and payment structure
-Perform cash and funding management processes including cash positioning, payment processing, cash forecasting, and reporting
-Ensure compliance with cash management controls and regulations
-Participate in the company’s FX management strategies and transactions
-Maintain effective relationships with banking partners and internal customers
-Monitor and communicate regulatory changes and their impact on the business to management
-Perform other related duties as assigned by management

 QUALIFICATIONS:
-At least 7+years of regional treasury experience with large corporates. Retail company and/or multi-national corporation experience is preferred.
-Understanding of the Chinese banking industry, experienced in dealing with major banks
-Familiar with regulatory environment and restrictions (SAFE, PBOC, MOFCOM)
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, high level of integrity, ability to work well under pressure, quick learner, self-motivator, results-oriented, and a team player
-Expertise with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required
-Experience with systems such as Treasury Workstations, financial reporting systems (Hyperion), ERP systems (particularly SAP), and banking systems is a plus.
-Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin and English

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's is required (Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business). MBA is a plus.
