Directly report to Logistics Manager

Job Summary/Purposes

The incumbent is responsible for managing the import and export of Indirect materials, including materials for store construction and maintenance, Stores Windows, Visual Props, Stores’ Supplies, Stationary and Advertising. Also included the review of monthly statements issued by forwarders and custom brokers.

Responsibilities

- To enforce, improve and streamline logistic operations’ procedures.
- To establish and maintain a consistent and effective KPI management system for both direct and 3rd parties Indirect Materials warehouses and logistics providers.
- To liaise with custom brokers, freight forwarders to ensure the import and export process is handled efficiently and to the highest security standards
- To coordinate with Regional office and central Logistic Purchases Dept. to negotiate freight and logistics service rates.
- Ensure insurance claims are handled according to Company’s procedures.
- To liaise with relevant Chinese Authorities, such as Custom house, CIQ, etc. ensuring good cooperation and to be informed on new policies, regulation to ensure the company is compliant with Chinese Government requirements and Laws; to maintain company’s good reputation while dealing with such Authorities.
- To ensure that all delivery requirements are met in a timely manner to avoid loss of sales or delay in product launch, sales promotions shops opening etc.
- To maintain an effective security and internal control system to minimize materials loss and/or damages.
- To coordinate logistics operations related to the materials and the commissioning and de-commissioning of events held in China.
- To verify non-Finished Products’ importability and that customs classification is correct and to ensure goods and accompanying documents being despatched to/from China are compliant with international and local Customs Regulations.
- To monitor the arrival and distribution of all materials for new store construction/new window display props according to the material lists.
- To streamline the organization, propose/implement process change to increase efficiency
- To manage/motivate/appraise all direct reports
- To review in details all forwarders monthly statements
- To prepare and submit Accruals files to Finance department. 举报 分享
