Role Description:
Role: Group Marketing Director
Report to Group CEO
General:
The Marketing Director is responsible for shaping Group's CBU sales and CV service strategy. Co-ordinating with Group's business units and support units, the Marketing Director shall have an overview of the nation-wide high-end CV market. By studying customers' requirements in different segments, the Marketing Director shall shape out group's business strategies. The Marketing Director shall be able to consolidate the group's resources to package new service solutions to meet the increasing customers' demands. The Marketing Director is also responsible to follow-up the penetration in each business segment.
Essential duties and job description:
1) Develop the group's business with the leading logistics and transport customers, creating new 'service products' that can contribute to efficient transport solution for our customers.
2) Market group's new service brand and services to not only existing customers and potential new customers, but also to the internal business units.
3) Develop and implement improvement strategies to maximize market penetration and profitability to group business areas.
4) Responsible to developing the overall financial and operational targets and ensuring appropriate measures are in the place to follow-up those targets.
5) Continuously monitor and analyze market trends and activity, recommending suitable actions to the management team.
6) Manage personnel requirements within the After Sales department, including:
a) recruitment of qualified employees
b) ongoing development and training for employees to meet the demands of the business
c) conducting performance assessments
7) Work in cooperation with other Departments and Business Units to achieve common business objectives, ensuring that there is open and effective communication.
Candidates Requirement:
Education or/and experience
- University education
- Relevant business knowledge and experience in a similar role
- Extensive sales and managerial experience preferably in the heavy vehicle or a related industry
- Experience in cross function working team.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- A sound knowledge of the heavy truck and bus industry.
- Effective negotiation and influencing skills.
