Job Responsibilities
- Implement R&D projects and deliver results to improve quality, process efficiency, safety, cost and trade leadership
- Optimize process conditions and develop procedures to improve existing operation performance
- Responsible for key equipment / components design and modification to improve operation efficiency on Polymerization and Spinning
- Develop new product to meet identified customer needs and conduct thorough plant test
- Develop new quality control methods/ Specifications / Equipments for raw material, packaging, process efficiency, and end product qualification
- Provide technology support to joint ventures, sister sites and third party contracting work.
- Lead plant test for process improvement items and new product development.
- Assists prove out for new product development
- Assists in developing standard operating procedures
- Assists in investigating product quality complaints from our customers
- Assists in training and development of technicians and operators
- Key contributor to Company culture implementation
- Key contributor to IP control when working with JV
- Provide third level support to operations for day to day product and quality issues
- Contributor to the Process Safety Management system
- Participate actively in AP technology and Site Networks
- Participate in Global R&D and Manufacturing Technology Networks and activities.
- Other adhoc tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.
- Responsible for individual compliance initiatives

Job Requirements:
- Master or Doctor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Polymer, Mechanical or Spinning
- More than 5 years experience in leading development programs
- More than 5 years multinational company experience
- Self-motivated and Strong communication skill
- Strong capability in data process and analysis
- Strong capability in problem solving
- Independent thinker and strong willingness/capability in understanding the details
- Good Skill in both written and spoken English
