Description :
The role of a NPP Commodity Buyer is to build and implement the Group purchasing strategy within his/her specific commodity, under the coordination of the Global Commodity Manager and under management of the NPP Country Manager. The main missions of the role are to:
?Strategy
Develop market intelligence.
Contribute to the Group Purchasing Strategy and deploy it across PG, working within the Commodity team
?Supplier Management
Define and manage the supplier panel.
Develop a real partnership and lead framework agreement
?Projects and contracts
Identify synergies cross PG and take in charge transversal group projects,
negotiate orporate contracts according to the standards
Lead implementation of contracts resulting of these projects.
Define and manage deployment and communication plan in all regions,
Consolidate follow-up and reporting for these contracts,
?Knowledge management and Tools. Use and get used the tools implemented by the group, such as :
Tools for RFI, RFQ, e-auctions
Contract database for the record and management of the contracts
PAP for the project follow-up and saving reporting
Spend database, Magnitude for the purchases statistics

Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have/be:
?Bachelor degree in engineering with a specialisation in international purchasing
?Minimum 3 years experience in the same level of position in an industrial environment
?Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skills
?Ability to work in a matrixed organisation
?International mind set, overseas experience a plus
?Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
