Title: Technical Support Team Leader
Report to: Technical Head
Subordinates: 3
Location: Shanghai

Position Purpose:
- To provide technical support to customers related issues for China;
- To lead the technical support team;
- Be key member of the Technology team.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise a group of 3-5 chemists/technicians
- Be knowledgeable on color / pigments / dispersions and application in paints /coatings /thermoset
- Have hands on experience in these areas and in customer support
- Be a team player and be able to communicate effectively with other departments and customers
- Trouble shooting and technical consultant work for customer
- Be able to give presentations, training to customers/tech audiences/distributors
- Be proficient or be able to quickly learn color software and be able to learn color formulation
- Basic project management skills also helpful.

Requirements:
- Ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in chemistry with 8 years’ experience of Master degree in Material Sciences/Chemistry, with a minimum of 5 years experience in paints/coatings/additives/resins/colorants, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment.
- Leadership skills.
