职位描述
Major Responsibilities:
1.Utilize product and manufacturing knowledge to specify quality assurance - preventive and/or detection methods to assure products maintain their quality level for customers.
2.Utilize knowledge of materials and components in evaluation of products and specification of product attributes to assure product quality.
3.Capture best practices of evaluation methods in written Test Protocols.
4.Communicate product requirements through specifications and reports (Evaluation Reports, Engineering Scope and Test Plan (ESTP), Technical Specifications, Request for Quotes (RFQs), Production Sample Inspection (PSI) reports, QA Sheets, etc.).
5.Analyze product quality issues, determine root cause, and work with QA team to provide corrective action to assure products continue to meet or exceed quality and performance expectations.
6.When assigned a lead role, demonstrate ownership of leadership responsibilities: define objectives, tasks and sub-tasks, delegate to team members and assure team members deliver to expectations, seek guidance from manager to achieve the results expected.
7.Ability to assess resources requirement for projects /task completion on time and on budget.
8.Develop and deliver presentations for interdepartmental use regarding products, areas of engineering expertise, and process knowledge, etc.
9.Recommend and support strategies that contribute to company continuous improvement system by generating processes and procedures to achieve productivity gains.
10.Execute strategies set forth by management to meet customer and company requirements, deadlines, and department goals.
Requirements:
1.A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required. Mechanical or Material engineering areas of study are preferred.
2.Minimum of 5 years (8+ years preferred) relevant work experience in like or related field.
3.Ability to multi-task and prioritize and organize projects in a changing environment.
4.Proven skills in analyzing product failures with a proven history of developing and implementing corrective actions.
5.Requires strong communication skills, willingness to work in a dynamic team environment, a healthy attitude and a keen.
6.Proven ability to procure, read, understand, and interpret technical reports, specifications, industry standards, test data.
7.Experience working with overseas customers and suppliers.
8.Set a high personal integrity with suppliers worldwide. Ensure compliance to the laws, business guidelines and ethical standards set by company.
9.Able to travel 20-40% of time, with some International travel possible.
10.Fluent in both oral and written English.
11.Proficient in using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
