Position Summary
Corporate Counsel – M&A and Transactions. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Corporate Legal Office and is based in WuXi PharmaTech’s headquarters in the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone.

Key Responsibilities
？ Provide proactive, practical legal advice on a broad range of PRC and international legal issues relating to WuXi AppTec’s business including business transactions and M&A.
？ Work within a small team of in-house counsel managing relationships with outside counsel based in PRC and overseas.
Qualifications
？ PRC qualified lawyer with at least three - five years related work experience
？ Preferred work experience:
？ Corporate transactions
？ Top PRC law firm or China office of an international law firm or in-house office of a major MNC
？ International experience
？ Proficient spoken and written English

？ Ability to understand core business needs and tailor legal advice to provide practical and actionable solutions on a broad range of matters
？ Strategic thinking to proactively identify significant legal risks and challenges to the business and propose solutions.
？ Flexibility to work across a range of legal issues and effectively prioritize to focus on matters of highest impact to the business
？ Strong team working and communication skills.
