The Role
To deliver the resource plans, for senior roles within the business, using credible, customer focused, cost-effective and innovative recruitment solutions using a range of techniques
To work with the line on active internal and external recruitment strategies that ensure Burberry is securing exceptional talent as the business grows and develops.
To ensure that only the highest of standards are maintained whilst communicating and liaising with potential Burberry candidates, focusing on standards of the Burberry experience.
Conduct competency based candidate interviews as well as effectively source and match candidates to positions.
Work closely with Line Managers during the recruitment process. to ensure the right candidate is recruited
Develop a resourcing strategy and cost effective solutions to enable business to meet its resourcing requirements.
Manage external stakeholder relationships with suppliers and agencies (job boards/trade magazines etc.) to ensuring that the PSL is fit for purpose in regards to effectiveness and value for money.
Take the lead on project work that will support the delivery of the overall Resourcing Strategy for the business
Represent the Brand at appropriate internal and external events.
Produce monthly reports and statistics from the e-recruitment system as well as ensure KPI's are met within the team
Work closely with HR to ensure that there is an accurate resourcing forecast for 12 months in advance
Partner with talent team to identify key performers
Stay abreast of market trends within Resourcing and clearly understand different channels of securing talent: media, education, internships, social networking, etc.
Work with HR/Talent team to ensure that there are succession plans in place for all parts of the business and that there is a resourcing strategy for all Business Critical roles.
Undertake any other duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
In depth experience of hands-on recruitment from an in-house perspective, especially has strong knowledge of the Retail Industry
Management of small sized teams, remote management experience would be an advantage.
Previous experience in the implementation and embedding of corporate process.
Experience recruiting using social media
Managed end to end recruitment processes
Previous experience in using an on-line recruitment tool
Strong communication skills.
A Multi-tasker who thrives under pressure.
High Emotional Intelligence.
Great stakeholder management.
A passion for the Brand and an understanding of 'Luxury'.
High integrity.
