职位描述
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Oversee plant activities in accordance with the policies and management philosophies as communicated by the company and/or group.
* Liaison with customers and various internal departments regarding product development, continuous improvement projects and new jobs.
* Ensure customer requirements are met by prioritizing and delegating as required.
* Assist Assistant General Manager in reviewing designs.
* Sign off on engineering changes and quotes.
* Coordinate schedules for production.
* Participate in soft tool and die and prototype development as required.
* Initiate action to prevent the occurence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and quality system.
* Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system.
* Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
* Verify the implementation of solutions.
* Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
* Ensure the consistent application of plant rules, policies and procedures, incl. progressive discipline.
* Communicate, document and advise HR of all Health & Safety Training for employees.
* Ensure machinery, tools and equipment are serviced and maintained to a standard, which meets or exceeds manufacture’s recommendations.
* Ensure the practices and procedures required for each machine are implemented and complied with by all authorized operators.
* Monitor employee performance and ensure employees are trained.
* Respond immediately to items brought to his/her attention with respect to hazards, defects or non-compliance issues.
* Taking appropriate corrective action when substandard performance is observed.
* Provide support and resources for monthly safety inspection and safety upgrades.
* Perform other reasonable duties as required or assigned
EHS
- Abide by all safety and non-safety plant rules and regulations.
- Adhere to established quality and housekeeping standards.
- Monitor and report any defects, hazards and non-compliance items to AGM;
- Report any incident/accident to the area supervisor and first aider.
- Wear personal protective equipment provided by the employer.
- Abide by EHS & fire-fighting duty agreement;
- Attend all required training
SPECIFICATIONS AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
* College graduate with major in machinery/tooling design, build and repair.
* More than 10 years plant operations management experience with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.
* Actual Tooling Manufacturing background and experience is a definite asset.
* Excellent working knowledge of production facility, systems, equipment and large dies.
* Excellent organization skills and scheduling abilities.
* Good English and Mandarin communication skills.
* Strong leadership and team building skills.
* Management Skills Development Training on post-secondary level as required.
* Orientation, safety training, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA training.
* ISO/QS/TS Quality systems awareness.
