The position requires the candidate to have a strong electromechanical background, with experience in optics and laser based capital equipment. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of five years Field Service experience on capital equipment or similar manufacturing experience in final test. This position requires the person to be self-motivated, focused on detail and to be able to work as an individual or as part of a team, and able to deliver a solution within a tight timeline.


Job Requirements:
This position is based in Shanghai at the ESI SCAD facility
Requires a minimum of 5 years Field Service experience working with capital equipment
Responsible for Service requirements and deliverables as part of NPI process
Will work closely with Engineering development team on new products
Monitor and approve ECO’s, release FCO’s and Service Alerts as needed
Ability to communicate in Chinese and English and provide written reports
Support Logistics group with FRU identification and Hub stocking
Provide NPI training to FSE’s and customers, both onsite and at ESI locations
On-site support, including local and International travel where applicable
Responsibility for field escalations and coordinating with Engineering as required
Support Tech Pubs group with release and review of system manuals
Requires a minimum of 5 years Field Service experience
Lead or Supervisory experience will be an advantage


Education: Bachelor Degree or above
