The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as the primary HR services contact and business partner for business leaders and their employees

This position has responsibility for delivering a professional HR service to the business to ensure their needs are met as efficiently and cost effectively as possible. The HR Business Partner partners with senior and junior business management to provide a comprehensive HR services, working closely with other specialist HR functions and COE's to develop total solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide support to line managers on staffing in collaboration with the SunGard China recruitment team; involvement in the interview process, assisting in setting recruitment strategy for key positions, and developing an assessment process.
• Work with business leaders to ensure we know, protect and invest in our key talent; Work with the Talent and Training team to develop tools and practices to assist managers with performance measurement, rewards and recognition, and development.
• Advise and coach line managers on Employee relations issues, balancing best practice within commercial constraints; Ensure employees are treated in a fair/equitable manner.
• Facilitate conflict resolution between management and staff.
• Guide managers to develop management and leadership capability, maximize employee potential and promote career development.
• Drive local compliance with HR initiatives and activities (e.g. Talent/Performance Management)
• Collaborate with other regional HRBPs and HR COEs where needed to bring in expertise when needed, deliver complex organizational change initiatives and deliver HR processes (workforce planning, retention strategies, organizational design, talent/performance management, salary review and benchmarking)
• Undertake relevant ad hoc projects as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in associated discipline
• at least 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience
• Experience in Financial Services or Technology Services
• Must have proven strategic human resources planning skills, demonstrated leadership and experience
• Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Deep knowledge of HR best practices
• Experience developing, building and maintaining strong business partnerships
• Proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, particularly senior management
• Demonstrated ability to develop creative and innovative HR solutions to business issues
• Comprehensive knowledge of strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, talent development, succession planning and leadership effectiveness
