KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND SKILLS:

· Creative lead for industrial design projects specifically for the home lighting category in growth markets within brand context.

· Drive meaningful design innovation to support business ambition. Create inspiring design frameworks;

· Communicate clearly product and interaction concepts; visualize scenarios and design;

· Lead DfX programs be responsible for end to end design process in the given area: To work as part of a multi-disciplinary end-to-end team members to solve the problems and efficiently execute the projects.

ESSENTIAL QUALITIES/ REQUIREMENTS:

· A Masters/Graduate Degree in Product Design/ accessory design/ furniture design or equivalent education.

· With minimum 7 to 12 years of hands on experience in designing and executing consumer appliances, lighting, home interior or lifestyle products.

· Leadership potential with ability to collaborate. A team player and facilitator, who can motivate, inspire and lead by example.

· Ability to connect and communicate stakeholders from different regions, cultures and functions.

· Strong business oriented and local relevance mindset, willing to drive efficient design projects leveraging supplier competence and local customer know-how

· Flexible and positive approach to work to embrace change, manage complex situations and collaborate.

· Fluency with 2D/3D design program such as Adobe CS, Solidworks, KeyShot, Unigraphics etc.

· Ability to communicate in English; ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
