Description
Product Sales position supporting Automation Products Group (APG), the factory automation software unit within Applied Global Services (AGS). Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May lead functional teams or projects.
Key Responsibilities
1.Makes technical presentations. Negotiates Software License Agreements and related contracts. Completes product configurations; participates in development and negotiation of Scope of Work documentation
2.Identifies opportunities to solve complex opportunities for customers.
3.Drives new customer focused market development efforts for the specific product line. Works with account sales to close business.
4.Identifies new business opportunities within the assigned customers and territory.
5.Provides guidance to account sales team and Business Unit on what is known to be the strategic technical road map for the customer.
6.Maintains appropriate coverage and documentation for all assigned customers. Maintains summaries of customer visits. Develops customer specific action plans and completes them on a timely basis. Maintains sales opportunity status and pipeline in forecasting system.
7.Builds pipeline of new business opportunities by attending tradeshows, following industry news, developing and nurturing personal contacts.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
?Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred
?7-10 Years of relevant sales experience
?5+ years of experience working in large multi-national companies
?Experienced in selling IT products and/or services to advanced manufacturing companies in electronics and other related industries; semiconductor or flat panel display experience preferred
?Must be proficient in English
?Enterprise software sales experience preferred

Travel: Yes, 50%-75% of the Time.
