Business Need / Purpose of Role:

This position will bear primary responsibility for providing legal counsel and advice to the company in a wide spectrum of disciplines, including long term high value sales contracts, procurement contracts, corporate, litigation and dispute resolution, intellectual property matters, health, safety and environment, employment, compliance and advice on local law and regulations.



Objectives & Measurement
Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:

Including but not limited to:

? Draft, review and propose modifications to contracts and other documents related to a variety of trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters to protect the company’s legal and business interests;
? Identify and mitigate legal issues, legal risk and provide appropriate and timely legal advice, and recommend paths to the effective resolution of issues and disputes;
? Deliver compliance and legal training to internal employees to ensure the compliance with laws and company policies and procedures;
? Other assigned project/work.



Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

? Bachelor degree or above in law. Majoring in Civil and Commercial law or International Trade Law is preferred;
? 3 to 5 years of working experience in law firm or as MNC in-house lawyer;
? Certified with Bar Exam
? Superior English skills both in writing and speaking;
? Be flexibility and able to work independently
? Ability to handle multiple deadlines in a changing environment with a sense of urgency.
? Team player with good interpersonal skills and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
? Proficient with Office software
