PURPOSE:

This position performs daily accounting processes, mainly in R2R – Record to Report (GL & Reporting) cycle; oversees the end to end R2R process, including the activities handled by outsourced accounting service provider.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Ensure general ledgers are in line with PRC/Philips accounting principles and China fiscal regulation. Local Business assets and liability are in correct record and sufficient control;

2. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in Month-end Closing (MEC) and Year-end closing (YEC)

3. Perform Pre-MEC trial statement review and MEC trial balance review with business

4. Ensure proper master data setup in R2R, e.g. cost center, profit center, account, etc.

5. Handled tax related activities including tax reconciliation, tax filing and coordinating tax audit

6. Coordinate statutory audit and internal audit

7. Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliation, and ensure proper follow-up

8. Assist Infosys in completion of R2R process

9. Assist R2R team leader and unit leader to resolve issues related with R2R process

10. Monitor KPI results to meet the commitment of Service Level Agreement, including the quality of service delivered by external party (Infosys)

11. Work on continuous improvement programs to standardize and improve the efficiency of R2R process across various entities

12. Ensure that adequate and effective internal controls are in place and that processes and policies are established and documented in compliance with ICS/SOX and other corporate requirements

13. Support global & regional projects & initiatives in R2R process

14. Other related finance and accounting activities or ad-hoc tasks assigned by manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·Bachelor degree in finance & accounting or equivalent. CICPA or other accounting certificates would be a plus.

·2-5 years of relevant experience in MNCs

·Knowledge of legal and fiscal requirements

·Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders

·Good command of English, both oral and written

·Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is a plus

·Good PC skills, especially EXCEL

·LEAN & 6 Sigma knowledge/certification is a plus

·Teamwork spirit and can work under pressure
