职位描述
Responsibility:
? Develop new technology or application for electrical insulation products with novel chemistry or technology, and creative thinking to keep Axalta the leading technology position in the market.
? Modify existing products to improve product properties or reduce cost as required within aligned timeline.
? Design and safely conduct related experiments or tests with lab technician support, and deliver the results with high quality in time.
? Manage and monitor the project progress as project leader following internal process. Report and communicate project status to local and global organizations in time.
? Be responsible to scale up newly developed products at manufacture site.
? Supports manufacture technology team to solve production issues and customer complaints.
? Qualify second source of raw materials.
? Support on product localization.
? Maintain recipes in TIPS database.
? Develop diverse test and analytical methods for new product and application.
? Provide training to lab technician on new chemistry, application and test methods.
Qualifications:
? Master degree or above in polymer science, material science or chemistry related.
? At least 3 years working experience in coating or resin industry, coil coating or core sheet varnish industry field is preferred.
? Highly motivated and good interpersonal and team working skills are essential, demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional groups, such as product, marketing, sales and technical service, etc.
? Excellent trouble-shooting skills and very good communication skills both in Chinese and English.
? First-hand experience with coating formulation or resin cooking is desirable. Able to generate creative ideas to develop new generation products or modify the existing products to meet market needs.
