Research Director (Qualitative): Pioneering global, boutique agency, Shanghai

Offices: Shanghai, London, Oxford, Sydney

We are building a global insight, research and consultancy business based on new thinking, new frameworks and new methodologies. We are a global team of strategic thinkers with an impressive client portfolio across disciplines and one of the fastest-growing insight consultancies around due to our outstanding reputation for delivering ground-breaking thinking and innovation across key consumer brands and categories.

Requirements:
As part of continued growth plans for the China region, we are building up our team and now seek an exceptionally bright individual:
Proven big-brand experience gained either within strategic insight or brand consultancy positions;
Proven qualitative research experience (minimum 8-9 yrs.);
Team management, business development/pitching and high level strategic thinking
Comfortable managing clients and a diverse portfolio of accounts and passionate about research;
Open to embracing new techniques beyond the more mainstream to help unravel consumer thinking and address marketing and insight challenges;
Know all about brands, or equally brand consultants who know how to use research to underpin their thinking
Speak fluent English as well as Mandarin;
