Responsibilities

· Build and maintain co-operative relationship with regional authorities, the CIQ, AIC and other regulatory compliance enforcement entities to ensure the recognition of Burberry’s commitment on quality and safety compliance for China market

· Manage CIQ pre-testing certification status. Manage CIQ testing specimen submissions process and keep track with testing results

· Manage testing failure and non-compliance in collaboration with China Logistic, Legal, Retail, Finance, IT, Sourcing along with the technical assistance from third-party testing laboratory if required

· Provide support in managing incorrect product information through re-labeling process at LDC or retail shop to facilitate sell thorough

· Liaise with authorities to avoid penalty and adverse publicity for non-compliant issues

· Keep track with up-to-date policy, legislation and compliance governance changes information on China Product Quality and Safety Compliance to provide to management teams to action on

· Provide market information related to disclosed compliance failures, either from authorities or media and recommend preventative measures to alert management teams

Qualification:

Degree - Quality Management, Apparel & Non-apparel Engineering, or Logistic Management

Experience:

· proven experience in apparel and/or non-apparel on product quality and safety compliance management

· Experience of China market is mandatory

· NATIVE MADARINE

· proven experience in establishing working relationship with authorities
