JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Objective of the Position

To provide on time and cost effective Logistics Transportation, and manage demand variability, as well as optimizing Transportation resources through the accredited LSPs for both Primary and Secondary operations within Asia Pacific region and clusters. Ensure 100% execution of Inventory Deployment Plan (volume and time) at lane specific, where deployment are safe, agile, and at cost efficient manner. The role leads to deliver excellence in customer service at the lowest possible cost. The scope of the role includes all modes of Transportation of raw & packaging materials, semi and finished goods within the Supply Chain for both Asia pacific movements and global trans-shipments. This position requires a high degree of daily cross-functional interaction within Customer Service, Order Management, Supply Planning, Warehousing, and with the LSPs. The role is supported by the Global Trade Compliance Team.

Key Responsibility
This role has responsibility for Logistics Transportation within cluster (s) of Asia Pacific Region. Deliver Key Performance Metrics, eg : LTIR, Performance to Plan (OTIF - Volume & Time), Cost/case, Transport-Turn-Around Time, etc…. Issue KPI exception reports and take appropriate calibrated actions to ensure an accurate and effective Transportation resulting in a lower shipping costs and improved product availability across network - ON TIME, and IN FULL for both Primary and Secondary.

Key Accountabilities
Develop LSP partnership and manage Transportation performance

Modeling & Analytics
? Manage flow of materials, data, and logistical resources- from Supply Planning and Demand Planning and connect with Operations, end view of serving the end customer in full and at the right time.
? Support business process through performance analytics.
? Gather, analyze, and reports historical and real time performance, analytics, trends, projections; and develop sustainable solutions.
? Conducts end-to-end analytics, data pooling, model development, implementation, and monitoring.
? Performs sensitivity analysis, business case development, and implement process / operational improvements.
? Maintain an accurate data base for : Transportation Profile of the RIGHT –Rates, Carrier type, Size,
Mode, capacity, window time, and traffic peculiarities complementing the actual requirements of
both internal and external customers.
? Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures to ensure sustainability of database integrity
to drive an efficient Transportation Planning process.
? Minimize variability and coordinate closely with LSP Transport Carriers, Inventory Deployment Planning Team, and Site Warehouse Operations Team to provide vital information needed daily to prevent disruptions in the Deployment execution and its corresponding Shipment / Dispatch process.
? Accountable for effective communication to Transport Carriers, Forwarders, Brokers, other LSPs of service day assignment.

Supply Chain Optimization
o Define and recommend opportunities driving operational effectiveness and efficiency
o Develops and implements Transportation strategy, models, and cost effective processes in driving a continuum success of the business

Cost
o Analyze the cost and service performance for the month and recommend action plans on improvement to optimize both Company and Third Party Transportation Carriers based on Operational performance reports and P&L results.
o Deliver budget expectations
o Identify, develop, and execute cost saving programs through sustainable continuous improvement process.
o Assist in freight contract tendering
o External benchmarking and collaboration

Customer
o Partner with Customer Service team, Warehouse Operations, Supply Planning Team, and Transport LSPs to drive an optimize service and cost within network.
o Provide analysis, insight, and predictive measures into Transportation performance and business impact.


Required Skills and Education:
? Bachelor degree or greater – preferably in an engineering or a supply chain discipline
? Minimum 2 years’ experience in transportation operation or management
? Strong analytic skills; the ability to powerfully portray data and leverage to drive continuous improvement
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills across the organization
? Project management skills
? The ability to build business partnerships and external collaboration opportunities wherever possible
? Product Supply experience in other disciplines preferred
? Significant experience with Lean practices. Six Sigma Green or Black belt certification preferred
