Sales Manager for Asia and Japan
Job Description
This Sales Manager will be responsible for initiating and developing business from new customers in the defined sales area, which is initially defined as Asia including Japan, Korea, China, and countries in South Eastern Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The focus is in Japan market.
Special Skill and requirements:
? Fluent in reading, writing, Speaking English
? Can travel to abroad
? Can work independently,self-disciplined and can work at Candidate’s selected city
? Previous working experience in the sanitary and plumbing industry are preferable
? Report to General Manger monthly on customers, sales and business activity as required
? The sales person is knowledgeable in the Spa/Salon industry, the products will be about the plastic products such as motor Jet (水流发生器), Spa showerhead complete set, beauty showerhead complete set, Swivel P-trap, and so on.
After initiating business with new customers, Sales Manager will maintain close contact with those customers in order to develop additional business with them.
The process for achieving the above will require the Sales Manager to:
1. Arrange meetings with potential customers with a view to receiving enquiries for products from them. Potential customers may be from any sectors of our market including mass merchandisers, warehouse home centres, wholesalers, OEM manufacturers and industrial customers.
2. Attract business for products that are made in-house. Products made by plastic material and water related products are preferable.
3. Pass on those enquiries to Industrial’s supporting team.
4. Check quotations from supporting team and quote customers accordingly.
5. Follow up on quotations with a view to securing business from those quotations.
6. Receive orders from customers, check them and pass them on to supporting team.
7. Agree shipping and payment terms with supporting team and customers.
8. Maintain appropriate records of quotations, orders and customer details.
9. Maintain acceptable profit margins.
10. Expedite payment of invoices as and when necessary.
11. Pro-actively find equable solutions in cases of shipping, payment or quality queries.
