职位描述
Transportation Management.
- Indirect people management for 38 people in 2014 from transportation company, supervise their daily work, make sure SOP be followed and leadtime be met.
- Control and make sure all transportation operation be smoothly and efficient in China.
- Transportation planning based on order volume, operate TPS system
- Daily truck booking, truck pick up scheduling
- Coordinate with warehouse to make sure order be picked on time and in good condition
- Coordinate with customer/Sales to make sure order be delivered on time and in good condition
- Transportation compensation coordination
- Transportation performance tracking/KPI report, organize and lead monthly performance review meeting
- Monthly transportation billing checking and invoice
- Update the SOP for more efficiency in daily operation.
- Monitor the actual transportation cost based on forecasting.
- Support transportation manager for yearly RFP and search for more competitive carriers
Be responsible for China return orders
- Collect return/sample and other orders;
- coordinate with ASSC to input the order data into SAP
- return/delivery arrangement
- transportation tracing, on time & in good condition;
- transportation/CW compesation follow up;
- billing/invoice
Be responsible for China order to cash process, from order receiving to goods arrival at customer side, provide solutions, make sure good logistics service are provided.
- Conduct daily operations for all transportation flows in China base on SOP
- Truck planning and booking, make sure carrier’s truck arrival at warehouse on time according to the picking schedule, on time pick up ratio:98%.
- transportation tracing, on time & in good condition; OTD: 99%, Damage ratio:0.02%
- transportation/customer claims and compesation coordination and follow up
- customer complain/inquiry handling,find root cause, deliver action plans and make sure . complaints target:0
- billing/invoice/accrual
- Key performance indicator tracking and reporting
- Monthly review meeting with carrier.
- Support marketing team’s sample order and POSM delivery.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required
1. Minimum 5 years logistics and order processing experience.
2. People management experience, especially manage those people with low education background
3. Sound computer skills in MS-office, ERP experience, SAP preferred;
4. Customer service oriented
5. Good command of English in both spoken and written;
6. Good communication and negotiation skills;
7. Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills
8. Able to work under high pressure and independently;
9. Logic thinking and good time management.
10. Business travel/customer visit as requested
