Scientist, Bioinformatics

We are looking for an experienced research scientist in bioinformatics to develop, maintain and optimize our next generation sequencing data analysis pipeline. The position will be in Wuxi AppTec Genomics Center, located in Pudong Shanghai.

Job Description:

Master or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, bioinformatics or a related field with at least two years of software development experience; Proficient in linux HPC environment and scripting languages (python, perl, R, java etc.); Knowledgeable in implementing and maintaining NGS data analysis pipelines; Capable of solving engineering problems related to processing Big Data. Some knowledge in biology or genomics domain is a plus; Strong organizational and teamwork skills; Excellent in communication skills in both English and Chinese.
