Application Support Specialist
In this position based in Shanghai Xuhui District and reporting to our Global Planning Manager, you are mainly tasked to:
Supervise the help desk Support Assistant and resolve escalated issues
Communicate with and support the System Development team for unsolved issues/necessary developments
Provide the technical analysis and solution design of identified website developments
Keep record of implementations and costs
Maintain the overall production environment and ensure user’s compliance to our standard procedures
Contribute to process development and best practice
Maintain, develop and communicate documentation of support, processes and procedures
Manage User’s access to the system
Perform other duties as assigned
You bring to this position:
Degree in computer science or related technology, or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of html, Javascript. Basic Knowledge SQL/My SQL Queries is a plus
3 years working experience in a technical support role
Demonstrate clear, effective and readily understood verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to work with end users and troubleshoot issues in a courteous manner
Ability to understand end user workflow
Ability to execute complex tasks through organization and driven approach
Experience working in a help desk environment closing tickets is a plus
