We build things from scratch and continue improving our service offerings and expand our market research in other segments of the premium and luxury brand sectors. We are constantly on the look-out for talent, and are currently seeking our next:

Senior Account Manager

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be based in our Shanghai office and report to the China Business Unit Manager. This position’s scope involves the following:

? Intimate understanding of how luxury/ premium brands work and engage their target constituencies.
? Develop mutually beneficial, long-term relationships with key clients.
? Key account approach to client management, exploring opportunities with existing and prospective client across a range of marketing issues.
? Look behind the facts, beyond the numbers, translating data into insights that have commercial value to our clients.
? Engage clients at senior level, developing trusted-adviser relationship.

To that end, you would be responsible for the following points:
? Stay abreast of activities and developments in the luxury and premium goods and
services market.
? Day-to-day contact for key clients, proactively leading Albatross relationships.
? Prepare and/ or review deliverables (proposals, reports, presentations) to ensure they effectively meet clients’ business needs and add value, meeting agreed deadlines.
? Present results to clients at senior level.
? Gain an in-depth understanding of Albatross’ services, models and analytical frameworks.
? Manage resources under your responsibility effectively, lending and/ or calling for assistance as and when required.
? Good understanding and adherence to Albatross’s system, processes and policies.
? Work closely with people across the organization to ensure business opportunities are maximized and realized (cross-pollinization).
? Work closely with operations and central functions to ensure appropriate resources are allocated to properly and agreed deadlines (internal and external) are met.
? Work as a team member, as an integral player of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the team’s objectives and supporting others.
? Proactively and positively manage conflict, always aiming for win-win solutions and observing Albatross’ desired behaviors.
? Coach and guide junior members of the team, providing opportunities for leaning and development.
To be able to effectively fulfill the above requirements, the following level of experience and skills would be required.

Experiences:
? Minimum 5 years continuous experience in a marketing, branding, retail, market research, management consultancy organization.
? Successful track record of delivering value to clients, ideally in the luxury/ premium market.
? Team management experience, gained in an international, multi-cultural environment.
? University degree in business, marketing or related field.

Skills:
? Proficiency in English, a second language a distinctive advantage.
? Intellectually rigor and have strong analytical skills, being able to convey complex ideas in a simple, easy to understand manner.
? Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to manage senior and diverse audiences.
? Good inter-personal and team-player skills, able to operate efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.
? Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking, being able to prioritize tasks for self and team.
? Maturity and ability to work well under pressure, remaining positive in critical situations.
? Integrity and accountability, leading by example.
