SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Lean Manufacturing Manager leads lean implementation strategies (Productivity, Layout and Material Flow, company Production system). Drive lean culture and identify opportunities to improve. Cross location bench marking of lean practices, providing expert support as required. Ensure senior leadership have the lean understanding and improve communication from central to plant locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Development and implementation of Lean Manufacturing strategies (also for new projects)
? Drive and support applying Lean Manufacturing tools within the plants
? Consult and support company plants in implementation of material flow systems
Work with global lean teams for development and deployment of corporate policies and processes
? Work out cost estimates in order to define cost efficient and best in class working practice
? Develop layouts for new projects using Lean Layout principles
? Capacity calculation for studies and projects in respect to headcount and machines
? Definition and calculation of launch costs, as well as development of shift models for new projects
? Analysis and optimisation of production systems by use of simulation software
? Conduct Ergonomic analysis for new workplaces and counsel plants for existing installations
? Support in Lean Manufacturing Audits/ Assessments of plants.
