职位描述
Position Objective:
- To provide product strategy, product portfolio planning, and product marketing to drive the profitable market share growth
- Financial Goal aligned with China's business target and the responsible product group
Responsibilities:
Product Marketing
- Market studies to identify changing market needs, segments, and opportunities
- Decision on product positioning to increase market shares
- Market share data analysis by product, channel, market, industry, China region
- Competitive landscape & analysis
- Market Intelligence
- Industry needs analysis, voice of Market, trends by segment
- Product marketing tools, programs, key product messages, product data, head to head analysis
- Product & application training and training material
- Creation and implementation of regional channel strategy
New Product Opportunity
- Identify & lead the NPO process to meet customer segmentation needs
- Identify options, attachments to support the segmentation programs & market specific solutions initiative
- Identify & lead upgrades & options to current product portfolio.
- Work within marketing team to prepare new product, new market launch plans.
Product Financial Management
- Create a quality demand forecast by product or model
- Profit contribution analysis by product, channel, industry, market, region
- Establish & monitor pricing for each channel, market, region
- Evaluate special terms, pricing
- Business plans for new products
- Lead & assist in LRP, AOP preparation
Product Strategic Initiatives
- Develop actionable strategic initiatives and their concrete work plan and target
- Manage major initiatives to develop Product strategy
- Manage execution of strategic and synergy initiatives
- Provide strategic feasibility assessment for product group
- Proactively provide support for execution of strategic initiatives, and escalate issues to appropriate person as necessary
Requirements:
- Ability to identify opportunities & develop innovative or creative solutions
- Ability to recognize, predict and analyze moving factors in the industry
- Ability to cultivate & maintain network of business or professional contacts
- Ability to leverage marketing & technology for the purpose of acquiring, servicing & retaining customers
- Ability to prioritize product development decisions & assess impact of potential risk on program outcomes
- Strong technical and application knowledge of the product, market & industry
- Excellent interpersonal, conceptual & analytical skills
- Communication, presentation & negotiation skills
- Sound understanding of consumer behaviour
- Project planning and project management skills
- Team work, initiative, creativity and innovation
- BS marketing or engineering
- 5-10 years experience in marketing roles
- Requires travel to understanding of market, channels & customers
