Responsibilities:
Commercial responsibility to secure adequate land transportation and logistics (Motor Carrier (van, tank, dray), Packaging / Transloading, Rail and Warehousing. Apply Trading Mentality in the development of China Logistics Land Transportation, i.e. POV, strategy, optionality and risk management and the execution of in-country land transportation and logistics, e.g.
- Requirements gathering
- Support "all in" A2B freight calculation estimates
- Carrier selection (vetting information gathering)
- Freight and Logistics services contracting
- Freight and Logistics services invoice verification and payment
Local commercial support for International Commerce, Marine Terminals and Marine Transportation. (actual responsibilities depend on candidates skills & knowledge)
- Gathering local requirements and coordinating w/Global Commercial Leaders, i.e. Will (containers), Brunsman (marine & terminals) Continually staying in contact with the regional business supply chain and gathering bid requirements and changes to the supply program; reviewing service agreement portfolio and advising Global Commercial Leader when the portfolio is short or long capacity
- Carrier selection information gathering and updating
- Support "all in" A2B freight calculation estimates
