Position Description:
This person will be responsible for one or more of the following:

Develop end-user instructional publications for personal computer hardware products
Develop and maintain service publications for Lenovo service personnel and authorized third-party servicers
Prepare materials for translation
Peer review documents developed by coworkers

People in this position will gather information from technical specifications and other sources and work with internal graphic artists to develop publications for the defined audience.
They also will validate the technical accuracy of the text and illustrations through reviews and a hands-on approach using the product at various stages of development.

Position Requirements:

Strong command of English grammar and writing skills. Prefer a Bachelor’s degree or above in English with a focus on technical English writing.
English technical writing experience, preferably in documenting computer hardware or software, or in-depth formal education in English writing
Familiar with structured/tag-based languages such as HTML, SGML, or XML; or experience using FrameMaker+SGML, Arbortext, or other structured/tag-based authoring tool
