The role of MSDN/TechNet Forum Support Engineer (Vendor Position) is to provide and facilitate the delivery of responsive and reliable technical solutions and information to worldwide IT Professionals through forum-based electronic support.
Core Responsibilities
Problem Resolution
? Provide and facilitate the delivery of technical solutions and information to customers in Thai or Bahasa forums.
? Understand and learn MS products and technologies.
? Collaborate with English/Chinese forum SEs and local language supporters and escalate problems as necessary.
? Meet service delivery guidelines within the principles of the Customer Focused Culture.
? Responsible for achieving the team business goal of the service request volume and customer satisfaction rate.
? Identify/contribute forum contents (e.g.: voice of customers, forum FAQs, product quality feedbacks, etc.)
Effective Communication
? Utilize effective verbal/written skills to communicate with partners and peers.
Knowledge Sharing Contribution
? Welcome and initiate collaboration as necessary.
Facilitating Responsibilities
Effective Communication
? Demonstrate ability to recover from dissatisfied-customer situations.
Knowledge Sharing Contribution
? Contribute to content and technical community efforts.
? Provide mentoring and training to others within your technical specialty.
Requirements and Skills
? Bachelor degree. Better in computer science or EE
? Enthusiasm for and experience with Microsoft products, and passion for Microsoft technologies.
In-depth understanding MS platform or exchange product series in Technet forum or MS development product series in MSDN forum (SQL, Windows 7, Windows Server, Office, UC in TechNet forums; SQL, VC/VB, Mobile Dev, Office Dev., Development Tools, Client App. Dev. in MSDN forums)
? Good Communication skill. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English or Chinese and Thai or Bahasa which can easily translate MS products in local languages (Bahasa/Thai native speakers preferable).
? Ability to work in a fast paced environment
? Excellent demonstrated customer service skills, one year technical support experience is preferred
? Consulting or service related working experience is a preference.
