Responsibilities:

In this position, you will help to develop and validate embedded software subsystems for Intel Architecture (IA) based leading-edge processors to drive the next generation of Wireless Communications Network equipment. You will be responsible for coding & testing wireless software packages besides diagnosing & fixing software defects reported.

You will be working on projects spanning one or more of the following areas:
? Next Generation Wireless Network Infrastructure (Cloud RAN, Service Edge Cloud)
? Cellular Equipment (Basestations, Radio Network Controllers, Femtocells, Picocells etc.)
? Intel Core technologies including VT-xVT-d,VT-c, SRIOV, TXT, power management
? Signal Processing (Mathworks, algorithms, LTE, WCDMA, Medical, MAG, AVX, Intel Core processor microarchitecture and special purpose acceleration engines)

Qualifications:
Master degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.

Skills Required:
? Experience of working in wireless communications, networking, and/or Intel Architecture products.
? Very good knowledge of C programming, especially in developing multi-core or multithreaded software and in embedded or real-time programming environment.
? Very good understanding of Linux based operating systems and how to optimize for performance.
? Experience in library and driver development for Real Time Operating Systems for embedded devices.
? Good knowledge of processor technology and its application.
? Excellent communication skills.
? Good problem solving skills coupled with a strong aptitude to learn.

Optional:

The following skills would be an advantage
? Strong knowledge or experience in Intel Architecture and/or X86 SIMD, AVX and assembler programming
? Intel virtualization technology
? Linux kernel and user space development
? Linux device driver development
? Communication protocols and network architecture knowledge

Domain Knowledge that would be an advantage:
? Wireless infrastructure and applications (Basestations, Radio Network Controllers, Femtodells, Picocells etc.)
? Knowledge of 3GPP specifications and network architectures
