Manufacturing Quality Manager (Location：Fuzhou)

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

You will work directly with our U.S. based Quality Team, our FootJoy Operations Team in Taiwan and the Fuzhou Joint Venture Manufacturing Team to monitor, update and establish quality control and system where needed in the manufacturing process. Develop and maintain Quality Systems and Tools necessary to ensure and continuously improve the quality of our Footwear products and materials throughout the manufacturing process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Solid project management and leadership skills and mentoring.
2. Ensure the implementation and administration of the Quality System in the factory.
3. Actively participate in Lean Manufacturing, Production System, and any other Continuous Improvement activities.
4. Exercise authority to prevent shipment of non-conforming product.
5. Facilitate factory - wide corrective and preventive actions a problem resolution of customer complaints, field failures, and product returns to insure prompt and effective responses.
6. Initiate an analysis on current process and procedures in the factory.
7. Participation in special projects when needed.
8. Study the process flow and capabilities for opportunities to improve efficiencies.
9. Review the nonconformance and follow up to ensure the corrective actions are being applied.
10. Work with the factory to organize the related departments to track and solve problem.
11. Review the collection of quality data statistics and analysis for continuous improvement.
12. Review the product control plan to ensure all confirmation samples, fit trials and testing is being completed to support an on-time completion of production orders.
13. Review internal audit and take actions to maintain Quality Management System compliance standards of ISO 9001:2008, GB/T 19001-2008.
14. Manage, train and develop the Quality Department employees in order to achieve overall quality goals and objectives in the factory.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

1. College degree or more (preferred）- Major in Engineering, Business.
2. Over 8 years' quality working experience, familiar with footwear preferred.
3. Over 10 years' working experience in footwear industry, process and manufacturing experience preferred.
4. Excellent English and Chinese (Mandarin) language knowledge (spoken and written).
5. Computer skills (Microsoft Office - Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Lotus Notes).
6. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
   

TRAVEL:

Occasional travel to other locations.
