Price Analyst
· Price Analyst (PA) responsibilities include a broad spectrum of EMS-EMC Price Management activities including management of the complete Quarterly Pricing Reroll process (BOM costing, Cost Models, Final price agreement and true-up processes) and management of the Sustaining processes to ensure Alcatel-Lucent has the optimal cost structure for EMS manufactured products.
· Price Analyst must ensure that EMS supplier prices charge to ALU are correct and that cost reduction savings and newly negotiated cost model are implemented with new prices, or recovered in PPV management process
· Price Analyst serve as liaison between ALU and the EMS team for all issues related to component and product pricing.
PA also provides support to internal ALU organizations to resolve EMS pricing related issues.
· Price Analyst must perform advanced analysis to provide ALU Business Management, Program Management and Supply Chain teams information in support of ALU cost structure setting, product margin improvement and SC processes. PA must support and/or lead process improvement initiatives.
· Price Analyst posses 7 to 10 years of industry related experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Financial Cost Controls, or Materials Planning.
· A Business Diploma and Advanced Degree in Business related fields is preferred.
· Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel with ability to perform advanced operations ( V or H-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.), plus proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Access a plus.
· Require excellent communication skills, both written and verbal skills in the English language, as communication often is with persons in different countries, internal and external to ALU.
· Great attention to detail and keen analytical skills required for massive amounts of data. Ability to prioritize task and deliver results within tight deadlines and work with minimal guidance.
· Must posses an ability to work independently, to learn new processes within a short time frame to become a productive member of the Global Price Management Team.

Strategic Data Analyst
Description:
The Contract Analyst position is a very dynamic role within Product Sourcing with a wide business scope, principally an Administrative role supporting the Regional Commodity Management Teams. This role provides exposure to a broad range of processes and systems required to support the implementation of Component Contract Data from Negotiation results through to the execution phase. This position is best suited for a more senior staff; it involves an initial steep learning curve, which results in a very knowledgeable procurement staff member.

1-3 years of relevant electronics industry experience in a purchasing or supply chain related role or a Business Diploma in Materials Management / Supply Chain/Purchasing Management or related field

Responsibilities:
Work with and support 2-4 Commodity Manager's / Commodity Teams throughout the year to support negotiations results and participate in regular commodity meetings.
Load and maintain the Global database and maintain various Global Tools, as they relate to Contract Data - in order to provide the Regional internal Customer base with accurate, usable Allocated Contract Data and provide Corporate with the required information to perform necessary Negotiations and Analysis
Work regularly with local or Global Commodity Teams, Internal factories, EMS Supply Team supporting the EMS suppliers to provide the negotiated pricing and be the first line to resolve pricing issues and ensure changes are updated in the Database.
Maintenance of Contract Database (GPMA)
Responsible for loading and maintaining accurate pricing and contract Terms data for use throughout the Company.
Confirm that Contract Data is always accurate, up to date and complete for use by the Internal Customers
RFQ (Request for Quotation) preparation, issue to suppliers, provide follow up analysis and load final allocation, as directed by Commodity Management
Attain Data Confirmation on Negotiated parts with Regional vendors and suppliers, ensuring data accuracy and compliance at purchasing locations
Reporting - Purchase price variance, GPMA Accuracy, Variety of Negotiation Analysis and spreadsheet preparation, Discrepancies Issues, Consumption, Market share and financial reporting, by Commodity, Region, BU.
Work with variety of internal departments for contract accuracy, compliance and discrepancy review - Supply Chain, Component Engineering (TCM's) on day to day activities
Participate in the management of good supplier relationships - provide reports (delivery, quality, reliability, contract consumption, market share, etc...) to Commodity Managers for analysis and supplier reviews
Maintain electronics industry knowledge (i.e. trends and developments) applicable to your commodities of responsibility
Execute contract data management requirements on time according to agreed schedules or project plans in order to maximize savings
Ensure that the >95% of active component parts by value and >90% by part count are loaded and accurate on the Database
Ensuring <5% part- data/price discrepancy/reject rate by internal users and systems
