The successful candidate will play a key role in a team of high-caliber Windows system administrators working with a globally distributed team from the Shanghai office. The team manages and supports a global Windows platform infrastructure with the Asia team distributed between Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Shanghai.

Our windows infrastructure includes over 7,000 servers, and over 65,000 desktops, with a rapidly evolving Virtual Desktop Infrastructure of over 16,000 VPCs. The team is responsible for all aspects of this infrastructure including, Back-end Infrastructure, OS, build systems, monitoring systems, incident, and problem management. Our primary focus is to provide specialist support for core Windows infrastructure, technical escalation as well as to manage Windows infrastructure related projects in the region.

Candidates should have at least 3 years' experience working with global teams in English and have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Position may require travel to Hong Kong for training.

SKILLS

Required:

• Extensive experience of the Windows platform System Administration.
• Working knowledge of Windows directory services namely Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and WINS.
• Strong support experience in Windows 2003/2008 Servers & XP/Win7 Desktops.
• Support experience in Distributed File Systems (DFS), SCCM, SCOM, MS SQL Server , VMWare, AppV/Softgrid, Bigfix, Citrix XenApps, Xen Desktop, VDI.
• Working knowledge of Clustering technologies such as Microsoft Cluster, Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas Cluster Server (VCS)
• Hardware support experience in HP, Dell server hardware, IBM Blade Center and related components.
• Strong technical ability in solving low-level problems. Capable of effectively handling outage situations.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.

Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

• Experience with Powershell, Visual Basic, Perl scripting
• Knowledge of SAN and NAS
• Experience working with Windows enterprise technologies such as Microsoft Exchange and Internet Information Server (IIS), Sharepont Server (SPS)
• Working knowledge of Enterprise AntiVirus & Anti-Spyware products such as Symantec, Trend or McAfee.
• Administration experience in Veritas NetBackup in an enterprise environment.

· Ability to establish and maintain relationships across various IT organizations.
