Job Description:

Working with the Linux Kernel community to improve Linux and Linux Kernel support for AMD CPUs and APUs. Support our chip designers to improve our next generation processors.

Job Duties:

? Design and implement Linux Kernel support for new features in our CPUs and APUs
? Improve KVM support for GPU virtualization

Qualifications:

? Long-term, active involvement in Linux Kernel development
? Previous experience with submitting patches to LKML and engaging in LKML discussions
? Excellent knowledge of C
? Excellent knowledge of hypervisors and/or operating system design
? Good knowledge of the x86 and AMD64 architecture
? Good knowledge of AMD GPU architecture
? Good knowledge of common scripting languages
? Good knowledge of Linux and Unix system tools
? Excellent English (oral and written)
? Desire to learn
? Careful and reliable working style
? Capacity for teamwork

Experience:

Level 7 ? BS + 3-7 years or MS + 1-5 years or PhD + 0-3 years

Level 6 ? BS + 1-5 years or MS + 0-3 years
