Job Title: Corporate Purchasing Manager
Work Place: Jiangsu Province, Changzhou City

Responsibilities:
? Coordinates category groups
? Apply supplier relationship management for the respective category groups.
? Analyses regional demand structure
? Performs procurement marketing to develop basis of decision for sourcing strategies
? Defines optimization strategies and potentials (i.e. standardization, bundling, supplier concentration)
? Implements defined strategies in coordination with global category team members and Buyers
? Monitors/ controls the implementation of purchasing strategies/ reports according to specified ‘reporting lines’
? Monitors the regional supplier market
? Negotiates contracts (i.e. major suppliers, framework contracts)
? Manages supplier contracts within assigned global category
? Monitors/ evaluates and develops supplier performance
? Maintains the purchasing information and reporting system, makes results transparency and manages purchasing activities result-oriented
? Continuously optimizes purchasing processes/ systems in collaboration
? Benchmarks assigned category (purchasing conditions, processes)
? Keeps regular, intensive contact to internal and external interface partners in order to detect developments (market, requirements, …) and to exert influence accordingly
? Follows interdisciplinary workshops/projects to be informed, to be able to interfere and to optimize internal processes and procedures

Requirements:
? Extensive purchasing experience (proved in a certain category)
? Broad method/ tool know-how
? Strong negotiation skills
? Multilingual (English mandatory)
? Entrepreneurial driven personality
? Strong leadership and communication skills
? Signs global contracts together with Head of Purchasing Asia according to Delegation of Authority.
? Realizes TCO driven savings
? ‘Internal Customer’ satisfaction
? ‘Activity level’ of team
