Primary Accountabilities

1. Initiate, evaluate, and implement T&D programs in plant, including worker’s capability assessment.

2. Develop T&D process for guiding operations by identifying skill matrix and developing path to improving skill levels among workers.

3. Establish workers qualification process aligned with pacing of lean implementation and other pillars.

4. Deploy the T&D Pillar work in plant, integrated with performance management, mentoring, coaching and feedbacks.

5. Embed a continuously improving capability culture in the plant organization from leadership to shop floor for purpose of building an effective organization that can deliver targets.

6. Manage the training and development process through the prioritized road map.

7. Brings fresh up to dated thinking in Training and Development always looking for better more effective and efficient ways to build capabilities across the organization and ensure skill development to maximize the potential of our people and truly unleash the power of our people to fuel the growth.

8. Ensure skill development is practical and linked to true development needs clearly linked to the required business performance.

Education/Experience

1. Good Lean knowledge and experience.

2. Mastery of the lean principles and the SCJ transformation approach across operating system, Management infrastructure, and mindset, behaviors and capabilities.

3. Strong leadership, people skills

4. Good written and oral communication abilities in both Chinese and English.

5. Bachelor degree.
