POSITION DESCRIPTION
Report To: Distribution Manager
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Decision accountabilities:
? Monitor profit and loss of the operational cost of Satellite Distribution Center / Depot
? Establish trust and rapport with business partners
? Ensure operational excellence
? Ensure Satellite Distribution Center / Depot operates effectively and safety (zero injury)
? Ensure 100%availability of products for McDonald’s stores
Key responsibilities:
? Lead and develop the management team of Satellite Distribution Center / Depot; Enhance performance through leading, motivating, coaching, training, leveraging, sharing information and job enrichment and make sure to meet and exceed the KPI’s target.
? Optimize business returns by exercising expenses control, enhancing effective savings and promoting new business contributions to achieve financial targets.
? Build relationship, establish trust and rapport and sustain effective communication with business partners.
? Ensure corporate and statutory compliance of policies, procedures, practices, rules and regulations.
? Ensure safe, effective and efficient operation to achieve operational targets.
? Develop innovative initiatives to improve operational efficiency and create value for customers, company and employees.
? Lead SDC operation team to seek innovation and implement projects for continuous process improvements.
Working Relationships
Internal:
? Supervise at least 4 direct reports and 15 indirect reports.
? Work with Inventory Control / Customer Service as an effective team
External:
? Liaise with the customers for improving Satellite Distribution Center / Depot operational performance
? Maintain internal contracts with local government.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
? Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
? MS office applications and Chinese window
? Exemplary leadership. Good communication and presentation skills with senior executives and customers. Think in concept as well as in context.
? 6-8 years’ experience in operational management, of which 4 years in a managerial role. Multi-national, key account management and staff/line functional experience in a distribution or logistics environment highly desirable.
? A bachelor degree in Logistics Management, Transport Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration or related disciplines, MBA preferred.
