The purposes of this position are:
岗位目的
The Senior Hardware Engineer has the responsibility to design, realize and test a system, module or component, conform to the department and project procedures and processes.
The job entails responsibility for independently organizing (reciprocal) reviews of his/her design with colleagues, in addition to those with the Architect or the Senior Technology Specialist.
The Senior Hardware Engineer takes part in the reviews arranged by the Architect and accounts for his/her proposed approach. Functional responds to directions from the Architect or Senior Technology Specialist. He/she guides and supervises less experienced colleagues, contractors and trainees.
Any potential failures to meet schedules, deliverables or budget are reported to the Project Leader and suggestions are made for avoiding overruns. For day-to-day professional problems he/she consults the Project Leader and colleague Designers. For complex technical problems he/she consults the more specialized Senior Engineer and Senior Technology Specialists.
Technical contacts with internal/external customers and suppliers.
Next to general skills each professional Hardware engineer has built up a specialization in medical domain, which can be a particular Hardware technology or a product feature.

ü Responsible for the design, realization and test of a system, component or module; understands and communicates consequences of his/her design on the architecture.
ü Designs on the basis of design specifications in accordance with the functional specifications.
ü Ensures that there is proper documentation for the developed Hardware (Technical Product Documentation).
ü Combines newly developed, existing and/or purchased components.
ü Solves PR’s and CR’s (Problem Reports and Change Requests).
ü Draws up personal schedule and reports on progress.
ü Performs work in line with the processes that have been agreed in the department.
ü Is responsible for input in the planning process.
ü Responsible for organizing reviews with experts (including peer reviews).
ü Constructive contribution to project team and department.
ü Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study of the literature and technical contacts.
ü Spot and communicate relevant funded work and other business opportunities.

Job Requirements & Skills
岗位要求

• Education: A recognized Master and above degree in Electronic engineering, or relative discipline;
• Experience:
o >8 years experiences on hardware development.
• Embedded software experience is a plus.
• Competency and Skills:
o Professional in analog and digital system design, Schematic design and PCB Design, BOM (Bill of Material) creation and sourcing, FPGA, is a plus.
o Experience in MCU family 8051/AVR/ARM processor family.
o Knowledge in DC/DC power design including DC/DC converter (buck, boost and fly back) and Power Management, AC/DC convert design is a plus.
o Knowledge of modern testing methods, tools, and processes for system, component or module test.
o Good communication skills, both Chinese and English.
o Ability to write precise technical document.
• Travel Frequency <25%.
