Purpose of the Job

-A newly created role to be a specialist in project cost benchmarking, monitoring and assessment

-Will also be given a chance to work together with Bus in planning, managing and monitoring the upcoming development projects

-Collect and consolidate key information, conduct independent and critical analysis, to facilitate well-informed decision making on project executive committee level or above

-Directly reporting to General Manager of Corporate Development team

Job Responsibilities

-Especially focused on cost benchmarking and analysis, and providing assistance in the development of the best practice development manual and the relevant group policies and procedures

-Shall also be responsible for project implementation and their delivery within defined schedule ,cost and quality standards of the assigned development (of smaller size project)

- Liaise and collaborate with development end-users, government authorities, external consultants and contractors, internal services departments etc)

-Manage, plan and monitor the execution of projects from inception (e.g site search, feasibility study )to handover

-Control project progress, quality and budget

-Manage procurement and contractual issues

-Manage the design consultants and contractors

Job Requirements

-Degree holder in Real Estate and Construction or related disciplines

-Professional membership of a recognized institution in the Project Management/Architectural /Engineering/Surveying/Building/Construction industry

-At least 2 years of post-qualification experience

-Experience in working on corporate level is preferred

-Expected to be knowledge with authorities’ approval procedures in China and are to work with consultants to secure all necessary planning and technical clearances;

-Able to critically scrutinize contract documents and drawings, with an eye for details

-Good command of both written and spoken Chinese (Putonghua) and English

- Integrity and commitment to work is the key
