Essential Functions
This position is a technical position focused on ensuring quality and customer acceptability and deliverability of Polycom's solutions. The ideal candidate will be a good customer advocate actively participate in product development teams, test solutions, and assist to evaluate solution offerings for improvement into new products prior to being deployed. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, defining the correct pre-launch activates and verifying those activities, Initial deployment support of New products and product information transfer, and training between Engineering, Product Marketing, Technical Support and the Learning Center prior to product release; create and distribute product alerts and technical bulletins to Global Service Teams; and analyze and report on product performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
(Include education, technical expertise, skills and experience required)
Candidates have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 5+ years of engineering quality assurance, customer support or software development experience in a technology company. Applicants with previous working experience of Telecommunications, Video conferencing or the Video industry are highly desired. Ideal applicants will have a background and/or general understanding of Solution Deployments. Applicants must be team oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable speaking to large groups. The ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision is a must. Knowledge of existing Polycom products a plus.
